Bio
Dr. Georgianne Georgoulias is a pharmacist turned Mediterranean Health Coach, Board Certified STORRIE Wholistic Wellness Coach™, and speaker. She hosts a recurring Mediterranean Cooking Demo where she has been recognized for her voice in addressing the gaps in healthcare through the practice of functional medicine. She helps busy professionals & parents go from feeling stressed about their health challenges to effortlessly making healthy food & lifestyle choices. With her proprietary Mediterranean-style strategies, you can now use food as medicine and transform your eating habits. Her focus on the Mediterranean diet is deeply intertwined with her Greek family heritage.
As the Founder and CEO of GD Pharmacy Consulting, LLC Dr. Georgianne is bridging the gap in healthcare between preventative medicine and chronic disease management. After spending more than a decade seeing patients in her pharmacy practice continue to decline in health as the healthcare system led them down the path of “a pill for every ill”, Dr. Georgianne discovered a new passion in life in teaching people about how healthy eating habits can transform our lives not only for longevity, but also quality.
Through her experience counseling patients on health challenges like hypertension, diabetes and high cholesterol, she has seen first hand the struggle to implement lifestyle changes that we all know are good for us. With life lessons from 3 generations of Greek women before her, and years of travel through Mediterranean countries like Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, Turkey and Egypt, she has used these experiences to create a framework for helping clients optimize their health and reduce chronic disease through her easy to implement strategies.
She is a frequent speaker on holistic healing from the inside out, preventative health benefits of the Mediterranean way of eating, gut-skin health connections, and fertility + Mediterranean Diet. She has spoken on podcasts like WSIC “The L Show”, STORRIE Podcast, and “Rising into Mindful Motherhood” Podcast. In November 2023 Dr. Georgianne completed a 6-Month Certification Program to become a board-certified Wholistic Wellness Coach™ with STORRIE Academy™ and IPHM (International Practitioners of Holisitc Medicine) Accreditation Board.
Dr. Georgianne believes that drawing on the inspiration from the relaxed Mediterranean way of life, we can all learn to cherish family first, and savor the abundance of wholesome foods to nourish and heal our body and soul from the inside out.
My Story
After spending more than a decade seeing patients in my pharmacy practice continue to decline in health as the healthcare system led them down the path of “a pill for every ill”, I discovered a new passion in life in teaching people about how healthy eating habits can transform our lives not only for longevity, but also quality. Through my experience answering patients' questions on chronic heath concerns like high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol, I have seen first hand the struggle to implement lifestyle changes that we all know are good for us.
What I share with you in my Mediterranean Health Coaching Program is what I learned from my experience as a first generation Greek-American woman with parents and grandparents who lived long past the average life expectancy in America - and do it with vitality and good health! My focus on the Mediterranean diet is deeply intertwined with my Greek family heritage. With life lessons from 3 generations of Greek women before me, and years of travel through Mediterranean countries like Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, Turkey and Egypt, I have used these experiences to create a SIMPLE framework for helping clients optimize their health and reduce chronic disease through my easy to implement strategies.
Here, I'll be sharing my Mediterranean lifestyle tips and tools and giving you a glimpse into how these practices have impacted my life.
My interests include developing simple, eco-friendly, cost-effective strategies that can be easily integrated into your lifestyle.
My many passions include spending time with my big Greek family, traveling the world to explore other cultures, gardening, cheese tasting, tidying up, Montessori teaching methods, meditation, yoga, intermittent veganism, and teaching my children to be considerate. I also enjoy spending my summers in the sun by the Mediterranean Sea, eating fish and drinking wine.
